**OVERVIEW**

At Harnham we're working with a start-up in the smart cities and transport space who are hiring a Software Engineer to help build a high-performing machine learning platform.

They grown to 15+ people and have a strong engineering team already established, as well as a strong data science and machine learning team. They have recently taken on funding and are looking to continue to expand their team to help build more great products

There is a fun and relaxed culture that prioritises learning and development, as well as a passion for using data to help revolutionise the smart cities space

**THE ROLE**

You will be:

- Working on a unique product which is proving very popular for companies in the smart cities / transport space
- Working alongside machine learning, deep learning and computer vision experts.
- Joining an established engineering function that focus on software best-practice throughout the entire life-cycle.
- Data-driven organisation with little hierachy / ego
- Wearing many hats in this start-up environment, writing high quality production code.

**SKILLS AND EXPERTISE**

You must have:

- 1-4 years of experience in a commercial software engineering role (salary based on experience)
- Expert programming in Python
- Cloud experience in GCP is desirable
- Experience implementing microservices
- Experience with databases
- Experience with Restful interfaces

Bonus points for:

- Experience in Kubernetes
- SQL
- Airflow

**SALARY**

In this role you could earn up to £70,000 + benefits.
