An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Sister on Ward 17, is 23 bedded Respiratory Medical ward with 4 integrated Respiratory Hobs beds

As the Clinical Sister you will work alongside the medical, nursing and multidisciplinary teams, facilitating nursing staff with their development of clinical skills within cardiology and other nursing educations. As part of the senior nursing team you will have excellent communication skills with the outstanding ability to critically think, decision make and ensure the smooth running of the ward on a daily basis supporting the deputy and ward manager in their absence. Ward 17 currently holds the trusts ward assurance standards at a good level for patient care and staff experience and your role as clinical sister will be vital to improve this to outstanding. Along with these skills you will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience in respiratory, and demonstrate behaviors in line with the trusts values of kindness, courage and respect.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, organised and dynamic individual, interested in developing their leadership, nurse education and clinical supervision skills.
