This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing and successful Private Care Division within Europe’s largest cancer centre and to provide the highest standards of support to our patients.

This position provides a vital role in a highly committed, professional team supporting access to treatment for our Embassy-sponsored patients and guaranteeing funding from their sponsors.

Shortlisting is planned to complete by 20th May with interviews to be held by MS Teams during the week commencing 6th June.

The post holder will be required to work as part of the Private Care Operations Letter of Guarantee Team, delivering the highest level of customer service to both patients and consultants. The LOG Coordinator will responsible for coordinating Letters of Guarantee for pre-authorisation for private patients attending the Royal Marsden at Chelsea, Sutton or Cavendish Square sites.
- To work as part of the international team and respond to the patients’ day to day enquires
- Ensure relevant teams and departments are liaised with and that appropriate time and location is given when booking admission on the EPR/HIS
- To be the first point of contact for patient enquiries and patient bookings for services provided at Chelsea and
- To be responsible for delivering an efficient and faultless customer experience in handling both inbound and outbound customer

- To deal with all enquiries in an efficient, polite and courteous manner providing a caring, compassionate, helpful service to patients, staff and the general
- To be able to cover shifts from 8-8 including weekends as part of a shared rota when
- To investigate queries in person and on telephone, dealing with patients’ queries, invoices and financial queries sensitively and with diplomacy. Liaising with other departments within the hospital and outside sponsors where necessary g. embassies.
- To ensure complete confidentiality with respect to patient information in line with Trust’s Confidentiality Policy & Information Governing
- To use initiative, discretion and diplomacy and act in such a manner as to maintain and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
