Marketing Executive

**Overview**

At Hawk Furniture we design, manufacture and distribute sustainable office furniture across the UK. With nearly four decades of experience, we have thousands of products ranging from entry-level desking to design-led statement pieces. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Executive to join us.

The Marketing Executive role will play a key part in supporting the brand’s long-term strategy by developing and executing marketing plans for Hawk Furniture.

**Key accountabilities and responsibilities**:

- Generate ideas, create and execute plans to deliver the overall annual Marketing plan.
- Support the Marketing Manager with product launches across all platforms.
- Proactively manage incoming enquiries to the Marketing department.
- Create marketing materials suitable for use across different and relevant channels.
- Support the Marketing Manager in creating the annual calendar of activity (product launches, product guide, events etc.)
- Support the Marketing Manager with planning the social media posts and managing the calendar of activity on a rolling monthly basis.
- Ensure brochure amends are logged and edited for our annual product guide.
- Edit and maintain our websites.
- Liaise with printers and designers when working on our product guide or any other marketing materials.
- Monitor competitor activities and report monthly.
- Measure digital activity and report monthly on effectiveness.
- Own the process of dispatching product guides and samples to customers/reps.
- Keep the image library updated with new product images and deletions when necessary.
- Help with event planning, creation of materials and promotional items.
- Attend internal meetings where required.
- Ad hoc Marketing tasks as required.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to take decisions on future Marketing plans in line with the company strategy.
- Liaise with key external stakeholders (Marketing agencies, web agencies, render companies etc).

**Skills**
- Previous experience working in a marketing environment for at least 2 years, preferably in a B2B organisation.
- Fantastic organisational skills and time-management as most work is project based with deadlines.
- The ability to take ownership of a project or campaign from start to finish, ensuring it is delivered on time to a high quality.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, when communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of InDesign, Mailchimp and Canva is desirable
- An understanding of Google Analytics is desirable
- Additional skills in design, photography and/or video production would be great but are not essential.
- A salary of £25,000-£27,000 depending on experience
