**About The Role**:
The main purpose of the General Operative role is to assist and follow the instruction of your team leader, with recycling, kitting, packing, loading and despatching of products to and from the warehouse to the airport.

You will be working on a variable shift rota between 06:00 to 23:00, 37.5 hours per week

**Main Duties**:

- To ensure that goods are sorted, recycled, packed, loaded and despatched
- To operate all equipment to meet safety expectations and certification where applicable; cages, pallets, stillages, shelving, racking and machinery.
- To operate / work in the yard areas in a safe and tidy manner

**To be successful in the role, you will need**:

- Warehouse work experience preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- All work will require prolonged periods of standing and you will also be required to kneel, bend and squat in order to access and work with low and ground level stock.
- The role will involve some manual handling activities - pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
- You must be able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices.

**To meet security requirements, you will need**:

- To provide a checkable 5-year employment work history for the reference
- Ability to pass a basic Criminal Record Check and Overseas Criminal Record Check is applicable
- Right to Work in the UK
