**As a Learner Support Assistant, you’ll work with SEND students to help break down barriers in their learning, supporting teaching and learning activities both inside and outside of the classroom to ensure all students have access to quality education**

In this rewarding and varied cross-campus role, you’ll be supporting classes and small groups, as well as individual learners. You might also support students at break and lunchtimes, as well as welcoming them into college each morning and accessing transport at the end of the day.

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Helping with a wide range of teaching & learning activities for SEND students
- Closely working with learners to overcome barriers and get the most out of college
- Potentially providing intimate support and personal care for high-needs students
- Playing an integral part in the safeguarding of young people
- Championing our commitment to putting students first
- Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

- Completed and engaged with all mandatory training and enthusiastically got involved with staff development.
- Used recognised standards for working with SEND needs.
- Engaged and committed to our Go-further review process and CPD programmes
- Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible
