Together Housing are one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, managing over 36,000 homes across the North of England, with their main office based in Blackburn not far from the bus and railway stations.

This amazing opportunity has arisen for an individual wishing to embark on their admin career.

The successful apprentice will study the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship at Blackburn College one day a week. Applicants will also attend an initial assessment at Blackburn College prior to submission to the employer.

**Key Functions**
- The apprentice will provide support to training courses where required across the business, liaising with internal & external providers. For example, co-ordination of training and training materials where required, venue sourcing, scheduling trainers, ordering training materials, handling queries regarding courses and generate various reports regarding training events.
- Maintain the libraries of training materials
- Give updates on training information to stakeholders, vendors and colleagues and help to solve day-to-day problems and escalate where appropriate.
- Maintain the learning management systems.
- Monitor and manage the learning mailbox.
- Administration and processing of invoices.
- Supporting all areas of administration of learning activities eg. arranging meetings, attending 121 and team meetings to ensure effective & efficient delivery.
- Deal with customers enquiries over the telephone, face to face and in writing.
- General admin duties including compiling information, sending out information to a variety of audiences, maintaining accurate records. Eg. Attendance of training, monitoring attendance.
- Producing reports using V-look ups to identity who has and who has not attended training events.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Their experience of using Information Technology including Microsoft Office.
- Their ability to use effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Their ability to manage time and plan effectively.
- Their drive to pursue a HR career.
- Cheir confidence with telephone conversations.

**Qualifications**
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential
- 3 additional at grade 4 or above
