We are looking to expand the Britcom family further to the recent expansion of our Engineering Department and the construction of a new purpose built 6 bay workshop, incorporating a 10 ton overhead crane, ATF approved inspection pit & brake roller. Dependent on skill level, along with other benefits, you will have the opportunity to earn over £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, based on a conservative estimation of overtime.

Britcom are VBRA and ALLMI members. We are an authorised body builder and chassis converter for all of the major European truck manufacturers.

**The Role**
- The role will require you to assist in the production of our range of vehicle bodies based on a variety of manufacturers chassis.
- You will assist in the production of bespoke HGV trailers.
- You will assist with the bespoke modification of vehicles and trailers.
- You will prepare materials as required from drawings, for advancing to production.
- You will assist with the assembly of vehicle bodies and trailers to road ready standard.

**The Person**
- You should have experience working in a fabrication and welding environment, ideally in a similar transportation type of environment.
- You should be able to work from drawings and written instructions and be mechanically minded.
- A forklift licence, overhead crane and lifting/slinging licence would be advantageous but not essential as would experience of MIG welding steel of various gauges.

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
