Youth Worker

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and gain a wider understanding of SEN(D) with a hands-on role in this Youth Support Worker role? This is a fantastic opportunity to start working at an inclusive, Outstanding Primary school with a caring and friendly environment. The school has wonderful facilities to support their pupils and an experienced and supportive senior team who can provide support and training in your initial weeks. Your role as a Youth Worker will see you provide learning support for children and young people who need additional support. As the Youth Support Worker, you will play a key part in challenging the pupils and to strengthen the quality of their learning experiences so that they make progress in all areas of the curriculum.

As a Youth Support Worker, you will be required to:

- Support with implementing specific educational programmes for young people.
- Deliver activities to small groups of identified young people.
- Record observations on young people's behaviour and progress

Criteria for Role
- Desire to gain experience working in an education setting
- Willingness to provide care and support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs
- Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30pm - Full Time
- £80-£95 per day.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
