Hours**:38 Hours Per week**

It's an exciting time at our **Supported living services around Lincolnshire**, as we have an opening for a **Locality Manager** to join our fantastic team. This is a permanent position working **38 hours a week.**

Our supported living services around **Lincolnshire** is looking for a **Locality Manager,** who will make a difference in our service users lives and, in return have access to opportunities for learning and development in a supportive team environment

**About Our Lincolnshire Services:
All of our Lincolnshire services specialise in supporting service users with Learning disabilities, it is a supported living establishment

Our Supported Living services in Lincolnshire enables people to live as independently as possible in a home of their own. This usually means a small group of people sharing a house with their own secure tenancy, with care and support tailored to meet theirindividual needs

**Our Locality Manager duties will consist of:
- Ensure all the services provide a safe, clean, and happy environment for the people we support.
- Monitor and manage all local safeguarding issues as part of the Operations Management team and promote best practice best practice in the protection vulnerable adults.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
- Manage the financial performance of the services you are responsible for, ensuring that each individual service delivers within its agreed budget.
- Manage the services within corporate strategies including the implementation of management information system, rostering, and audit requirements
- Ensure that all staff are implementing the values, ethos, and objectives of Ambient.
- Be a role model of the organisation’s values and promote these throughout the region and externally.
- Ensure that all staff are fully communicated with and have the chance to celebrate their success and sharing learning.
- Manage the performance of staff, including taking appropriate disciplinary action where necessary.
- Directly manage the performance of all Ambient Support services in Lincolnshire. coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supporting the staff to deliver the support commissioned.
- Ensure that regular team meetings take place and that all staff have the opportunity to contribute their ideas.
- Assess the competencies of all Team Leaders in Lincolnshire and ensure that each individual is demonstrating the leadership qualities required by Ambient Support.
- Ensure the deployment of staff within the agreed budget, ensuring that appropriate support is always available.
- Take forward any national initiatives to improve support delivered to the people we support.
- Identify and implement service models to meet the needs of potential customers.

**Our Locality Manager skills and experience:
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Management or equivalent or 1st Level Nurse or qualified Social Worker.
- Proven supervisory or management experience in Care & Support settings
- Experience of managing high quality care and support services that have achieved full compliance (Good or Outstanding) with CQC
- IT skills to be able to use basic office systems.
- Health and Social Care legislation
- Experience of supervising, training and mentoring care and support staff.
- Desirable - Experience of working with people in transition between services.
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
- Experience of undertaking disciplinary investigations and hearing disciplinaries.
- Experience of motivating and leading a staff team.
- Experience of the recruitment and selection of staff.
- Budget Management experience.
- Assessment of the care and support needs of people with a learning disability.
