**Class 2 HGV Driver**

You will be delivering products to car manufacturing facilities in and around the southern area of the UK in a timely and safe manner. Giving our customers a great delivery experience, you will follow customer procedures, respond appropriately to any enquiries, and escalate any delivery concerns via regular contact with your site-based team. You will ensure that your vehicle is kept in an appropriate condition and will complete routine vehicle checks both before and after your journey reporting any defects.

**As part of your key responsibilities you'll**:

- Conduct pre and Post use inspections of vehicles
- Unload the vehicle, ensuring the products and returns are loaded safely and secured to minimise damage
- Ensure the correct load is taken to delivery destinations
- Ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly, signed, and dated where applicable
- Provide excellent customer service
- Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
- Drive within tachograph regulations and driver hour limits
- Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab
- Comply with fuel directives
- Ensure accidents are kept to a minimum and report any accidents, near misses, hazards in line with company procedure
- Follow the company defect procedure
- Attend essential training in order to carry out your role
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Wear the correct uniform and PPE

**Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements**:

- UK full valid driving license
- HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Digital Tacho Card and working knowledge of how to use it
- Driver CPC holder
- Must be able to provide good customer service, through building and maintaining good working relationships with customers

Hours: 48 hours per week - Early AM Starts 4am onwards

**Salary**: £27,040 per annum
