Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant for your next long term role in Hull?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a valued client in Hull, who are in need of a learning support assistant on a long term basis to work within their specialist provision unit. This will start ASAP, and last until at least October half term, with the potential for this to increase in the future. This is to cover a period of sickness absence, so the exact length of time of the booking is difficult to determine. Payment for this position will be between £70 and £80 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

You will be working within a large support team to provide excellent learning opportunities for SEND learners. This is a specialist setting specialising in working with students with Autism and ASD. Working within their specialist unit you will provide caring and nurturing assistance to the class teacher to ensure that the learners have a smooth and enjoyable learning experience.

The school is accessible from Hull, York and the East Riding and is accessible via car. There is parking available for those staff members who do drive. The school is available through most areas of Hull via public transport.

The school is an excellent school where supply staff members are highly valued members of staff. They have a unique ethos which make it extremely enjoyable to work in. Ideally the school are looking for staff members who have experience working as a teaching assistant before, and a teaching assistant qualification would be ideal.

Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable for this role.

- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
