About the role

What you need to know:
The Sales Operations Administrator role is based in our Reigate office and reports to the Sales Operations Manager.
- Overview_
- Sales Operations Administrator is a key part of the wider AIG Team providing support whenever necessary to all areas of the business. The jobholder must enjoy working in a changing environment at a fast pace.
- A major challenge of the job is that full, accurate information must be recorded and reported at all times and that deadlines are adhered to. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential; therefore you must be able to work under pressure.
- The jobholder will need to liaise with people internally excellent communication skills written and verbal are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Sales Operation Manager in day to day tasks, ensuring regular management intelligence is delivered accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in the production of daily, weekly, monthly reports, calculate Sales Results, and display results as requested by Distribution Research Manager or Intermediary Strategy team.
- Work with the Sales Operations Manager to understand the evolving reporting needs of the team looking to create new innovative reporting solutions or amending existing solutions where required
- To receive and interpret data requests from the business clearly indicating results and providing insights where relevant
- Work to a reporting schedule ensuring that reports are delivered to key parties in a timely manner
- Be able to extract data from internal and external systems providing relevant data and statistics on AIG Life’s business performance
- To develop relationships and liaise internally with AIG Life staff to support the Sales Operations Administrator.
- Accurately create PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, excel spread sheets and general correspondence to tight deadlines.
- Develop an understanding of the IFA protection market including the different IFA types, their distribution and business models.
- To ensure that you work within the AIG Life regulatory guidelines and Best Practice guidelines.

Principle skills:

- Display strong communication skills particularly written.
- To be able to prioritise tasks meeting tight deadlines.
- To be expert in Excel and PowerPoint skills
- To understand the AIG Life protection proposition, including systems and processes and how we compare with competitors.
- To closely manage and develop effective relationships with a number of internal customers across the business.
- To be organised in researching IFA sales using internal systems.
- To be a team player sharing best practices amongst peers
- To keep focused on objectives and ensure that you are self-motivated, organised and accommodating to other member of the Team.

Technical skills and expertise:

- GCSE passes in English and Maths & IT, A Levels desirable
- An effective communicator, both verbally and written
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills at an intermediate in the Microsoft Office Suite.
