We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen Porter ideally 18+ to join our dynamic team in a bustling kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and hospitality, and who thrive in a fast-paced setting.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and cooks, ensuring that ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly. Regular weekly cleaning of kitchen areas is an essential part of the job.
- Support the culinary team by keeping workstations tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Help with the disposal of waste and recycling to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all staff.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately to ensure freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.

**Experience**
- A passion for cooking and an interest in culinary arts will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed in a restaurant or hotel setting.
