Install Project Manager

A Project Manager is required to co-ordinate the installation service provided to customers and provide technical support service to the company, including creation of design plans for automated gates and barriers using CAD software.
This is a really fantastic opportunity to progress and develop your career quite quickly replacing the Installation Manager for the business within 6 months to 1 year.
**What will the Install Project Manager be doing?**
- Attend site visits with Sales and Installation Managers to meet clients and carry out surveys.
- Each project will be handed over for you to manage from this point.
- Be the point of contact for clients throughout the installation process, including managing design changes and keeping them up to date with progress.
- Participate in meetings, either online or in person, with customers, building contractors or any other relevant parties.
- Liaise with suppliers to finalise quotes, place orders and book in deliveries.
- Manage the engineering team's diaries, and ensure all necessary components needed for each installation are in place prior to start date.
- Issue handover packs and warranty certificates on completion of each installation.
**What skills does the Install Project Manager need?**
- Knowledge of Solidworks or equivalent CAD software essential.
- Ability to understand the engineering principles of automated gate and barrier construction, as well as the desire to learn the industry.
- Experience of working in an engineering CAD environment advantageous.
- Competent with Microsoft office.
- Good numeracy and computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Be able to demonstrate a logical approach to resolving technical scenarios.
- Must pass a security vetting check.
