We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced **Senior Care Coordinator** to join our team on a **maternity cover contract**. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about care coordination and leadership within a supportive and professional environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and manage care schedules for support staff in line with service user needs
- Liaise with service users, families, and external professionals to ensure care is delivered to a high standard
- Carry out care assessments, risk assessments, and care planning
- Support the Registered Manager with compliance, audits, and service improvement
- Supervise, mentor, and support care staff, including induction and training
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Ensure CQC standards and company policies are met at all times
- Assist in handling safeguarding concerns, complaints, and incident reports
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the health and social care sector
- NVQ Level 3 (or working towards) in Health & Social Care (Desirable)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
