Claims Auditor

As our Claims Auditor, you will be developing and carrying out robust, risk based audits across the department. You will provide assurance that customers fair and reasonable expectations are met, regulatory and claims best practice procedures are delivered and that leakage and other financial risk is effectively managed.

We’re ideally looking for someone with a strong knowledge of Personal Injury/Bodily Injury Claims, as we'd like our new colleague to focus on this area of Claims.

This role can be based at any of our offices (with a hybrid approach to working) but we are also able to consider permanent homeworking options too.

What will you be doing?- Developing a complete understanding of internal claims processes- Developing and carrying out robust, risk based audits- Delivering balanced, accurate and evidenced feedback to leadership and teams (highlighting strengths and areas of development)- Identifying areas for indemnity savings and taking steps to deliver financial benefits- Managing root cause analysis for all complaints- Identifying, managing and reporting risk within your area and enhancing the risk management culture across the department

What are we looking for?- Claims experience/knowledge across a few of the following Technical Claims areas: Customer Journey & FNOL, Liability, Own Damage, Total Loss, Intervention, Recovery, Credit Hire, Bodily Injury/Fast Track, Complex (Personal/Bodily Injury the most crucial for this role)- Strong ability to interpret management information and identify areas of risk and opportunity- Excellent communication skills- Experience in coaching and/or leadership preferable but not essential
