**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll help guide your team and ensure the home runs smoothly, safely, and with heart. Your day to day includes:

- Leading and mentoring support staff during shifts
- Supporting care planning and behaviour strategies
- Writing reports for Looked After Child (LAC) and Personal Education Plan (PEP) reviews
- Overseeing petty cash and daily activity planning
- Updating placement plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding documentation
- Keeping social workers up to date with weekly reports

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in a children’s residential care setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or willing to work toward it)
- Calm, confident leadership even when things get tough
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
- UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK with 3 years’ residency (for NVQ funding)
