**Position Summary**:
The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a variety of machines including ovens, provers and Koenig. The Machine Operator will ensure proper operation of all machines and equipment to ensure quality control standards are met. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Collate required tins and racks to fulfil production requirements, greasing where necessary.
- Line required tins with Silicone sheets as required.
- Tin and Rack up all teacake dough products to pre-agreed quantities per tin as required.
- Mould, Top, Add Inclusions, Size, Cut and produce other dough products to each specific customer requirement.
- Put racks of teacakes in provers/ovens/cooling tunnel and remove at the allocated time.
- Closely monitor products on line and advise Mixer immediately of any issues.
- Slice and pack teacakes.
- Deep cleaning of Koenig Teacake plant, Pinner, Flour Sifter and All downstream belts.
- Cleaning of work areas, desk and equipment.
- Report any equipment damage or anomalies immediately to a manager.
- Report any Low stocks of Materials and/or Packaging.
- Assist in development of new products and make any trial products on request.
- Any other reasonable request from a manager or director.

**Experience**:

- Operate all machine tools safely and efficiently to produce quality parts according to quality standards.
- Record all machine settings and final product weights.
- Check all machine tools for proper function after each job.
- Keep track of inventory of used parts.
- Maintain clean work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

This position is only on a Friday 7:30am - 13:00pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5.5 per week

**Salary**: £9.10-£10.42 per hour
