**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems, ensuring accurate tracking of materials.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of telehandlers.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to proper techniques for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all goods are accounted for and in good condition.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.

**Skills**
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems for inventory control.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
- Experience in materials handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred, demonstrating competency in operating heavy machinery.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, providing familiarity with logistics operations.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role, ensuring physical fitness for demanding tasks.

Pay: £13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
