Continuous Improvement Lead

In our business we have a “passion to protect what matters most”. We are actively recruiting for a new Sales Excellence Continuous Improvement Lead to support the UK&I Building Technologies Business.

This role will be primary responsible for the management and delivery of strategic transformation projects across Sales, utilizing Lean tools to map, identify and remove waste within current processes, design future state and deliver the continuous improvement projects to the business ensuring that the fundamentals are embedded to drive Sales Effectiveness to support organic top line Growth.

You will be working with multiple functions including but not limited to Sales / Operation’s and Site Leadership teams to develop and co-ordinate the execution of plans to support our business objectives and increase the pipeline of efficiency projects to deliver bottom line improvements year on year reporting directly to the Head of Transformation.

**What you will do**

Lead and run Continuous Improvement activity within the sales community

Facilitate groups through process mapping, root cause analysis, brainstorming, business impact assessments, gap analysis and project planning

Be the driver for operational excellence and business results and interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.

Support grass roots initiatives through project stage gates (via Wave platform)

Work on 4/5 key projects simultaneously, be proficient in Change, Performance, Project and Process Management.

Implement metrics to monitor performance and generate financial savings that can be directly correlated to the change in the metric.

Must be upbeat, well-adapted, focused & have the ability to see beyond temporary setbacks.

Foster open communication, values learning and to build employee effectiveness. Promotes essential facilitation and leadership skills.

Build project teams and act as a role model in coaching, championing change.

**What we look for**
- Lean methodologies qualification and/or implementation experience.
- Background in Sales or Sales Continuous Improvement activities
- Knowledge of standard process in Sales Environments
- Ability to effectively question stakeholders, create a process and review the performance of a process.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of process mapping, value stream mapping.
- Data-driven decision making and sound business judgment.
- Experience of leading, managing and developing teams and team members to deliver exciting projects.
- Self-motivated, able to identify workload requirements independently.
- Great networking skills and the ability to influence outside of own team.
