**Functional Skills Tutor**

Monday to Friday 9 am till 5pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering functional skills for the Traineeship provision where the learners are on a short journey to find an apprenticeship
- Helping to improve core Maths and English to achieve a level 1 or 2 qualification to standards set by awarding bodies
- Face to face one to one and group teaching and learning sessions
- Creating SOW and lesson pans for functional skills
- Ensure monthly KPIs are met relating to the traineeship contract
- Carry out initial assessments and action plans for each person and monitor their progress through regular contact
- Manage a caseload of learners
- Attend as a team member for team and standardisation meetings

Skills and Qualifications required:

- Must have functional skills delivery for Maths and English level 2
- Proven track record of delivering to young people aged 16 to 24
- Experience of dealing with people face to face and classroom delivery experience

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary: to £30,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + stats with option to purchase additional annual leave.
