ProSelect UK are working with Maguire Family Law to identify their next Partner, who will be based out of their Altrincham office.

**Job Description - About Us**:
Maguire Family Law is a well-reputed boutique firm with key bases in Altrincham, Wilmslow and Knutsford.

The team advises high net worth and international clients on finance matters, including divorce settlements and wealth protection agreements. It also has significant experience acting on children law issues, including residence and contact, and is acknowledged for its expertise in international child abduction and relocation cases. Praised as a “significant force in financial remedy proceedings”, Maguire Family Law has been ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500 for their commitment, services and experiences in family law.

A Partner is a solicitor qualified in England & Wales, who specialises in family law and provides legal advice to private clients; and who holds a practising certificate issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Family law usually involves divorce, separation, finances and children cases. There are also specialist areas including cohabitation, same sex, pre/post marital agreements and internationals aspects.

**The Role - Family Law Partner**:
Maguire Family Law are looking for a talented Partner who specialises in family law to join their Altrincham office. The role is pivotal in providing senior legal advice for high importance cases across the business, such as international aspects or ultra-high value, as well as assist and supervise paralegals, trainee solicitors, solicitors and associates within their remit.

**About You**:
You will be a highly skilled leader who is exceptional at workload management and delegating work to appropriate team members, whilst supporting your team to generate revenues for the firm. You will also assist General Management with attaining certain behaviours and performance across the whole team through investing in junior members and aiding their overall development.

As a Partner at Maguire Family Law, you will support the firm in raising awareness of our brand in market, encourage team members to do the same and generate your own contacts and relationships to benefit the firm as a whole, as well as your own profile.
- Be at least 5 years PQE
- Be a leader in the field
- Have exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
- Be a self-starter who has the ability to handle their own caseload as well as supervise a team
- Be driven, ambitious and motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Have astute commercial awareness and have strong business development skills to attract new business to the firm
- Demonstrate excellent client care skills with a strong ability to develop impactful relationships to secure trust amongst key stakeholders
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
