If **Assembly Fitting** is your area of expertise, then please read on. The role of **Assembly Fitter** has been created to work as part of our Adlington based team. You will report to our Machine Assembly Manager.
A day in the life of a**n Assembly Fitter **
- Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
- Ensure machinery is fully PDI’d and tested prior to delivery.
- Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
- Being self-disciplined, proactive and hard working.
- High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
- Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
- Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
On-site commissioning and customer training
**Assembly Fitter -**Bonus skills desired
Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
- Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
- Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
- Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
- Have the ability to carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.
- General engineering, marking out, drilling and tapping.
- Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
