**Service Support Worker**
**Location: Hull, East Yorkshire**
**Salary: £22,932 per annum**
**Hours: 35 per week**
**Contract: Fixed Term (until end of March 2026)**
**Driving Requirement**:A full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years) is essential and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory**

**What will a day in the life of a Support Worker involve?**
- Providing practical and emotional assistance to people in their own homes.
- Supporting service users with household tasks, meal preparation and shopping.
- Encouraging and promoting independence, enabling individuals to maintain their hobbies and interests.
- Building positive relationships with service users, their families and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring all care documentation is accurate and up to date.
**What does it take to be a successful Support Worker?**
- Previous experience in a similar care, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of person-centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and bank holidays.
