**About the role**

Our Benefits Modelling Lead will be accountable for providing a specialist resource in modelling all benefits for any cases coming via the Portfolio function.

Working within the Portfolio function of Customer Transformation this area is responsible for the end-to-end governance and management of the customer transformation portfolio - from review through to governance and benefits realisation.

Having both an internal and external view on the potential benefits from transformation initiatives and how those benefits can be realised. This role ensures that any cases being developed are underpinned by key benefits - customer, commercial or performance-related.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Responsible for continual monitoring and analysis of benefits realisation for all stages of the transformation programme
- Able to predict and call out risks associated with the delivery of the benefits along the way
- Provide Customer Transformation with specialist information and advice relating to benefits realisation
- Mentoring and working alongside modeller to ensure projects are managed in a timely manner
- Monitor, analyse, interpret, and report on the ongoing performance of benefits through the life cycle of all transformation programmes
- Conduct modelling, interpretation and forecasting of transformation benefits, working closely with colleagues in other functions at all levels to provide relevant insights and challenges throughout the lifecycle of the transformation programmes
- Provide relevant and effective financial/operational analysis and interpretation
- Monitoring, controlling & reporting risks associated with transformation programmes
- Provide expert advice to help influence and inform front end transformation decisions
- Delivery of benefits programmes associated with all approved transformation programmes throughout lifecycle

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in modelling tools and techniques
- Excellent capability in financial modelling, forecasting and data interpretation
- Strong numerical and analytical capability
- Good at developing relationships at all levels
- Knowledge of the market to be able to inform/advise on benefits to focus on that would improve customer service for Thames Water
- Comfortable to challenge, provide counsel and input to keep project benefits on track
- Act as mentoring modeller within the team
- Able to prioritise and deliver on time and effectively at all stages of a transformation programme
