Marketing Executive Based in Liverpool

**Salary is c£25,000**

As part of our plans to further develop and grow the business, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, creative and results driven Marketing Executive to add to our small close working team.

Reporting to the Head of Business and Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing activities across several channels. This is a brand-new role which you can really make your own as well as the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of digital marketing strategy.
- Drive online traffic and set and implement digital marketing strategies for customer acquisition.
- Improving organic search performance through existing content improvement and new content creation.
- Carry out continual improvement through managing and optimising campaigns to constantly drive ROI.
- Undertake activities including SEO/SEM, PPC, paid social and display advertising.
- Researching, planning and delivering paid ad campaigns.
- Exploring potential of other digital marketing channels and opportunities.
- Developing and monitoring campaign budgets.
- Planning and managing social media platforms.
- Preparing accurate reports on marketing campaign’s overall performance.
- Deliver improvements/enhancements to website, increase traffic, and ultimately revenue.
- Responsibility for improving website conversion by optimising the user experience.
- Monitor and analyse all changes in website traffic, customer behaviour and changes in sales.
- Supporting marketing activities for events and exhibitions.

Business performance improvement is a key part of this role, so experience of tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Google my Business would be essential.

The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, other partner businesses and customers is of course vitally important, as is being able to produce well written, well researched and engaging content for the various marketing platforms.

**General Skills and Attributes**
- 2+ years industry experience in digital marketing
- Excellent IT skills - good knowledge of: Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Publisher, Google Sheets
- Copywriting experience
- Experienced in campaign management
- Experienced in CRM systems
- Hands on approach and can work well as part of a team
- Project Management
- User Experience
- Wordpress
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript

**Person Specification**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field.
- CIM / IDM Qualification
- Some experience in a digital / marketing or advertising position.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.

**Experience of the following would be an advantage**:
Knowledge and understanding of events, ticketing sales processes, short breaks digital marketing

Wordpress, Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, Project Management, Campaign Management, E-Commerce, Events, Ticketing, Package Holidays, PPC, SEO, CRM, Adobe Creative Suite
