Job Responsibilities
- The role of the Information Security Manager/Cyber Security Manager, will be defining, implementing and refining approaches to Information Security, undertaking risk assessments and reporting results and offer guidance to the technical teams and businessstakeholders alike
- Managing a team of 3 people
- Conduct ongoing security threat, risk, capability and/or maturity assessments
- Managing security design initiatives, including Cloud and Architecture, from inception to implementation
- Work with Information Security Officer, Risk Team, HR and Data Protection Officer to develop policies and implement such as content control, DLP, develop Data destruction policy and roadmap for increased security
- Champion the adoption of IT security standards, frameworks, and compliance-led initiatives, such as PCI DSS, Cyber Security Essentials, and ISO 27001 compliance within the business
- Ownership of Privilege Access Management system Manage Client Connectivity Provider (WAN, Content Control, Connectivity as a Service)
- Responsible for Endpoint Management (Currently Trend EDR/XDR), vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, Network intrusion detection, Password Auditing tools turning output into actionable tasks and developing the strategy
- Security infrastructure: Firewalls, vulnerability scanning, OS hardening, IPS, Network Access Control
- Manage Firewall Audits, Mimecast Reports
- Manage SSL Certificate renewals
- Microsoft M365 E3 - E5 Security and other Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Defender
- Business Continuity/Crisis Management and Datacentre disaster recover skills
- Proven knowledge and experience of delivering one or more of the following areas: cyber strategy & transformation, security technology change, security operations, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), resilience & testing or cyber incident Response
