**Job Overview**
To work directly with 16-24 Year olds who are unemployed and economically inactive participants on our UKSPF Contract by effectively delivering a holistic, personalised support service with will include Employability Skills, which empowers participants with the self-belief, skills, motivation and confidence to enable them to progress into sustained employment or further training/education.
The Learner Support Worker will facilitate a range of employability and personal development interventions, via 1:1 and group-based learning and development sessions. They will provide participants with comprehensive initial diagnostic assessments, plan and deliver their learning and development, evaluate and measure their progress and impart guidance, knowledge and mentoring.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source referrals and enrolments for delivery programmes.
- Engage, build trust and maintain effective rapport with a caseload of
participants.
- To develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the local labour market including extensive understanding of current benefits regimes and entitlements.
- Regularly evaluate and document participant progress, via SMART reviews of participant attendance and completion of training/development interventions, achievement benchmarking, and work and training tasters/rehearsals undertaken.
- Regularly attend meetings with funders and other stakeholders/delivery partners.
- Positively promote programmes to service users and stakeholders via
internal and external events.
- Fully comply with health & safety, equal opportunities & diversity, quality assurance, sustainable development, safeguarding and data protection protocols.
- Share best practice with other keyworkers, employment brokers, tutors
and administrative colleagues and partners, to drive continuous improvement of the programme.
- Contribute positively as part of a delivery team, as well as part of a wider business team, to deliver business objectives.
- Be committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and develop professional standards.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent
- Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional developmen
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
- Previous experience of delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities and training workshops within an employment and skills sector
- Fluent in the English language
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High-level communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- IT proficient with an ability to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable experience, knowledge, and skills:
- Experience meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
- Knowledge and understanding of the local labour market, sector skills gaps, local employment and skills provision, specialist support networks, and education and training providers
