My client is a global manufacturing organisation who specialise in producing parts for the medical, life sciences and defence industries. They are looking for a driven and hands-on individual to join the team. This role will be overseeing the operations andmaintenance of the facilities systems including planning, coordinating and the use of sub-contractors/suppliers in the delivery of planned preventative maintenance. Whilst managing a small team of maintenance engineers.
**Facilities Manager**
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Managing and leading the change of facilities to ensure minimum disruption to the business core activities
- Coordinating and planning essential business services which may include managing sub contractors/suppliers in building maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, security grounds, utilities, repairs and renewals
- Making sure that the buildings and facilities meet required H&S and Legislations
- Overseeing the duties of the Manufacturing Engineers in all areas. This may include: standard working instructions are in place, adequate training is provided, approving holidays, performance reviews etc
- Managing the cost-of-service for external contractors adhering to budget.
- Supporting the HS&E systems in line with requirements of ISO45001 and ISO14001 to uphold certifications held
- Assisting in internal audits and recording findings

**Facilities Manager**
**Essential Skills/ Experience**:

- NEBOSH H&S Qualification
- Minimum of 3-year facilities management experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment (Fast paced manufacturing would be advantageous)
