- Summary of the Project Manager role**:To manage and lead on projects, determined to deliver high-quality projects within specified time and cost constraints to reach a goal. To lead the team in setting schedules, managing finances, complying withprocesses, systems and reporting.**_

**Key accountabilities include**:

- _Managing the day-to-day aspects of projects and driving projects outcomes_
- _Maintaining health and safety working with our inhouse health& safety team_
- _Assists in assigning labour to newly scheduled projects_
- _Assists in developing the construction and logistics strategy_
- _Defines verification strategy for package test and inspection plans_
- _Manage and lead the project team, including Site Managers, Supervisors, Designers, Planners, Production, Consultants and Specialist contractors_
- _Responsible for maintaining close relationships with clients, designers, sub-contractors and with other members of the project team_
- _Participate in recruitment or assignment of site personnel_
- _Lead interface workshop meetings with interfacing trades and relevant designers/consultants_
- _Fluent in planning, constructability, logistics and third-party interface issues_
- _Robust understanding of commercial and contractual issues_
- _Actively promoting and challenging Health & Safety on aspects of the projects_
- _Assists Commercial/Quantity Survey Managers with procurement and Commercial management_
- _Responsible for all aspects of Programme monitoring_
- _Responsible for Design Management with the assistance of the Design Managers_

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- _Degree in Operations Management, Business or a relevant field._
- _Proven work experience as Project Manager or similar role._
- E_xperience budgeting and forecasting_
- _Ability to develop strong partnerships with internal teams such as Design, Planning & Scheduling, Production, Procurement, Dispatch etc._
- _Computer skills - Microsoft Office suite_
- _Must be able to perform a variety of duties being resourceful and maintaining flexibility_
- _Effective communication - express or exchange ideas; must be able to verbally convey detailed instructions._
- _Working with people - adapts to the team and builds team spirit communication_
- _Presenting and Communicating - clear and concise instruction, understands audience_
- _Planning and organising - able to forward plan and manages time, resources and people appropriately_
