**Responsibilities**

Primary Responsibilities:

- To update the computer record of goods received and allocate a stock location for each item
- Store the goods in the allocated location
- Handle any returns in line with the company procedure
- Assist and organise with the ½ yearly and yearly stock take
- Conduct PPI (perpetual physical inventory) stock taking on a monthly basis
- Ensure products are available for arranged collections, and retain proof of collection signature
- To off load, check quantities and check condition of goods received from supplier
- Checking stock levels regularly
- Updating stock information on the computer system
- Comparing items received against items ordered
- Implementing or improving processes and procedures
- Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
- Performing random checks and audits
- Keep stores in an orderly manner
- Be responsible for you Fork Truck making daily/weekly checks
- Adhere to the Health and Safety Policy
- Ensure housekeeping is up to date
- Carry out any other duties as requested
- Be prepared to work extra hours if required
- As directed by management team

**Qualifications/Skills Required**:

- Product knowledge
- Stock control experience
- Stores knowledge
- Literate and Numerate
- PC literate
- FLT driver (Counterbalance & Bendi)
- Problem solving
- Previous experience of working in stock control role required
- Audit experience desirable
- Abilities
- Accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- No education requirements. Ideally GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
