Chief Financial Officer - Real Estate
Harper May are currently working with a global developer of renewable energy projects who are looking to hire a CFO with PLC and IPO experience. The group has developed over 1300 MW of assets across Europe and Asia-Pacific making them pioneers of their industry.
**The CFO Role**
**Key Responsibilities for the Chief Financial Officer**:
- Supporting public listening requirement and statutory reporting
- Running annual audit process
- Reporting key financials to the CEO & the Board
- Support delivering an IPO
- Investor & Shareholders relations
- Compliance (various jurisdictions)
- Project finance
- Mergers & Acquisition
- Investment activities
- Good Management skills
- Liaise with banks and auditors
**Key CFO Experience/Requirements**:
- Been a previous Chief Financial Officer
- Minimum 10 years experience in Finance/Accounting
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business
- UK Accounting Qualification
- 5 years audit experience
- CFO/Controller experience of minimum 2 years in listed company preferably on the London Stock Exchange
- Investor presentation experience for public company
- Able to work well under pressure, and ability to meet timeliness and deadliness
- Experience from Renewable Energy or Energy company would be an advantage but not a must
- Ambitious, energetic, motivated & technically capable
- Must have UK listed PLC experience
- Experience of working on an IPO desirable
