Warehouse Operative

Optime are excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives in partnership with DHL at Gatwick Airport. This job offers fantastic hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.
**What’s on offer**:
- Rate of Pay: £11.27 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension)
- Shifts: 2 x Days (6AM-6PM) / 2 x Nights (6PM-6AM) / 4 x OFF
- Hours: 40 hours per week PLUS overtime paid at x1.5
- £50 a month bonus after completing Security & NXCT (Screening Course)
- £10 a month bonus after completing DHL approved FLT Training
- Staff parking
- Weekly pay (Every Friday)
- Immediate Start
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Ensuring stock levels are accurately counted using handheld scanners
- Assisting with inbound/outbound deliveries
- Operating all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations
- Complying with strict security processes
- Travelling airside with deliveries to assist with unloading on-site
- General warehouse duties as instructed by your supervisor
- Always maintain a safe working environment
- Great work ethic
- Ability to work in as team
- Experience of working towards targets
- Feels comfortable lifting items up to 23kg in weight
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- You must be able to provide 5-year checkable history to secure long-term employment within this business
Due to the location of this warehouse a Driving Licence is preferred.
