Wiltshire Community Eating Disorders Service (WCEDS) is a specialist team within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. With a reputation for excellence, our service provides a stepped model of care tailored to the individuals needs for stabilisation and recovery. We offer a range of programmes and evidence based treatments to assist a patients recovery from a range of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. WCEDS are a close-knit and supportive team of multidisciplinary professionals, who are passionate about continued improvement of service for people with eating disorders.
We recognise that our team members are our greatest asset and are keen that you feel supported and encouraged to fulfil your potential. We offer excellent learning and development opportunities and there are routes to progression and advancement within the Trust including a Clinical Associate Psychology programme. You will be a part of a team of assistants psychologists delivering 1:1 and group standardised interventions such as CBT-T and Guided Self Help for eating disorders. Your role will also involve assisting in specialist assessments and delivering psychometric tests.
The role also includes significant research and data analysis component, including being a part of service improvement and evaluation projects. Engaging in regular individual as well as group clinical supervision as well as continuing training and skills development are also important aspects of the role.
