**Key Accountabilities**
- The delivery of a safe, punctual, and reliable service across all operating depots
- Establish and develop an engaged and talented team of Performance Supervisors, on street Inspectors ,pro-actively managing performance and taking action to engage the team.
- To effectively manage service performance using technology systems
- Maintain and prepare accurate records for all aspects affecting punctuality performance (vandalism, traffic, roadworks) to ensure compliance.
- Improve operational performance in a sustainable manner, with a key focus on managing reliability and on time performance, resulting in delivery of agreed key performance indicators
- Ensure timely delivery of alternative disruption plans; liaising with and providing information to all relevant colleagues, ensuring the business is informed of planned and non-planned major events effecting operations.
- Provision of timely advice and assistance to drivers, ensuring excellent working relationships between drivers, supervisors, and inspectors to ensure a consistent customer experience.
**Company Responsibilities**
- To undertake any additional duties at the request of your line manager deemed to be within your competency.
- To fully comply with all HS & E legislation along with Group policies and procedures.
- To undertake any training and development activities at the request of your line manager.
- To always take care of your own safety and the safety of others by complying withthe safe systems of work Principles and UK Bus Health & Safety Policy.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Ensure PCV license, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card (if applicable) are current and carried whilst on duty.
- Adhere to all FirstGroup and First Bus policies and procedures
**About you**
- Excellent planning/organization skills
- Experience of driving high performance and engagement with a track record of delivery through leading a team.
- Strong influencing skills and a track record of dealing with multiple stakeholders
- A team player, wholly committed to working with and supporting the wider business and divisional teams to achieve the First Bus Business Strategy
- Good intellect with an analytical insight to quickly assess both day to day and future service disruptions with a can-do attitude to solving and preventing issues
