**About the Role**
Head of Fundraising
37.5 hours per week
Weldmar Salary Scale: £47,000 per year
Monday - Friday (Weekends when required)
As Head of Fundraising, you'll lead our mission, collaborating with the team to develop innovative strategies that meet ambitious targets. From securing diverse income streams to employing effective fundraising techniques, you'll play a pivotal role in our financial future.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll set the strategic direction for fundraising, ensuring activities comply with regulations. You'll oversee budgeting, target setting, and financial management to maximise income potential.
We’re looking for a proven fundraising manager with a strong understanding of charity law, excellent communication, and leadership skills.

**About the Organisation**
- Rated Outstanding by the CQC_, Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care to adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support to their loved ones. This care is given in the comfort of patients’ own homes, in the community, and at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. All care is provided free of charge and mainly funded by the continued support of our local community, via fundraising initiatives and events, our retail chain, and gifts left in wills, enabling us to raise the £27,500 we need every day to keep our services going.
