Our client is a market leading General Insurance business who are looking to recruit a Senior Compliance Business Partner. In this role you will assist and provide support to the Head of Compliance ensuring that all business activities comply with the relevantregulation, legislation, and industry best practice, including providing daily support and guidance to the business in respect of any compliance related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to and support the Head of Compliance in building, embedding, and maintaining an effective compliance framework, ensuring that the wider business reflects a customer centric culture and considers how its activities impact customer outcomes.
- Support First Line teams in understanding the regulatory impacts in their areas by acting as a referral point for the business, providing technical input and expertise, interpreting compliance regulations/requirements, and relating this to business activities.
- To maintain effective 'horizon scanning’ to identity and recommend relevant changes in response to the current and emerging regulatory and legislative landscape.
- Provide appropriate review and sign off for financial promotions, as required.
- To provide input into and submit information in respect of relevant FCA and internal reporting, ensuring that accurate and timely reporting is maintained as required.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience of operating in a compliance function within Financial Services, ideally within the General Insurance Sector.
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware and able to understand (and balance) the business needs whilst meeting regulatory requirements.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the FCA handbook and other relevant regulation and legislation.
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance, principles, products, and services
