**Overview**
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life the little boy who's 10, by delivering personalised care tailored to their specific needs. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.

I am looking for a suitable carer for a 10 year old boy who has severe complex needs.

**Duties**
- Assist the 10 year old boy with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules (if required)
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences via gastrostomy.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Implement first aid procedures when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medication administration and understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience with children with complex needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques that cater to specific dietary needs.
- Familiarity with feeding tubes.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Ability to work independently
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to those in need, ensuring they feel valued and respected in their daily lives.

Pay: £12.05 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
