Coventry, United Kingdom Davenport Lodge Nursery School Full time

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner, Level 3, to join our team at Davenport Lodge Nursery School, 4 or 5 days a week (38 or 40 hours).

The Early Years Practitioner must have an understanding of the principles and content of the Early Years Foundation Stage and know how to put them into practice. They must support other practitioners in acknowledging the various influences and transitions experienced by a child from both inside and outside the setting.

You must be able:

- To plan, prepare, record or document and implement the curriculum appropriately to meet the needs of all children in their care, through differentiation of tasks.
- To motivate and stimulate the children's earning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience.
- Experience as a Keyworker and completing observation and journals is essential.
- To ensure that the Health and Safety and Safeguarding of children and staff is maintained.
- To provide a stimulating classroom environment, where resources can be accessed appropriately by all pupils.
- To keep appropriate and efficient records.
- To plan, assess regularly and record pupils development and learning.
- To teach children to the highest standard and promote their learning.
- Must provide a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere that is conducive to the social and emotional needs of the children within the class.

We offer a full training programme along with 33 days holiday.
