protection and management of trees? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Tree Officer to join our planning team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist arboriculture advice to colleagues, Councillors, and the public. You will play a key role in ensuring trees and woodlands are protected and managed effectively, contributing to the landscape and helping address climate and ecological challenges.

We need a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and customer service skills and a passion for creating great places. If you're ready to make a significant impact and join a successful team, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide expert advice on tree and woodland management to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage Tree Preservation Orders, including serving, modifying, revoking, and enforcing.

**You are a fit for this role if you have**:

- A qualification in arboriculture or a related field, equivalent to a degree and/or relevant experience of five years
- A high level of knowledge, understanding and experience of all aspects of tree and woodland issues, particularly those relevant to the planning system and tree management.
- Experience of being involved in continuously improving services and developing products to meet customer need.
- Full UK Driving License & access to a vehicle.
