Materials Scientist/ Laboratory Technician

**Location**: Bromborough

**Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: Upto £25,000 depending on experience

**Hours**: Days Monday
- Friday

**Additional**: 10% annual bonus dependant on company performance, x4 life assurance, parking onsite, company pension.

**Travel**:

- mínimal. May be required to visit partnership agencies (e.g. universities) for testing purposes but these are split between the team
- Russell Taylor is working exclusively with an international materials design, manufacturing and supply company who through growth are looking to appoint two Laboratory Technicians who will work at their state-of-the-art laboratory based at their Bromboroughcentre of excellence._

**The role**:

- Preparing test samples according to standard operating procedures
- Undertaking standard tests on raw materials and products for purposes of quality control or product / process design
- Setting up and operating automatic and semi-automatic equipment
- Monitoring metres, gauges, temperatures, pressures to ensure adherence to process specifications

**The Person**:

- **Will hold a Degree in a relevant, Materials Science or Chemistry based discipline, although lab experience is preferred (would consider non graduates with lab experience).**:

- We are looking for individuals who have a passion for materials science and associated test methods, someone who is adaptable and able to work independently when needed.
