**CAD Technician / Draughtsperson (Racetrack Design) - £26,000 to £36,000 DOE + Benefits - Buckinghamshire / Hybrid-working**

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson include, but are not limited to:

- 2D drafting of motorsport circuits and masterplans in Civil 3D as directed by the engineering team.
- 3D modelling of circuits and site plans using Civil 3D software.
- Drawing package preparation and plotting
- Developing CAD skills and standards, templates and procedures as directed by the engineering team and maintaining these standards in your delivery of work.
- Contributing to the technical delivery of designs
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in communicating both technical and nontechnical information.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson are:

- BTECH HNC or HND in a Design or Technician/Draughtsperson qualification.
- Member of a professional institution such as ICE with EngTech (Preferred but not essential).
- Able to work under own initiative within a multi-discipline environment, and to manage a variable and changeable workload. To be able to plan workload and ensure information is produced within parameters set out by the engineers and/ or the project lead.
- A willingness to travel overseas occasionally for short periods as this may be required. There may also be a requirement for longer duration of travel for event delivery projects.
- Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or AutoCAD is essential.
