**JOB - Maintenance Engineer**
**LOCATION - Surrey**
**TERM - Permanent**
**SALARY - £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience **
My client is a Manufacturer in the Food industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Surrey on a permanent basis.
**The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Experienced working in Food Manufacture ideally
- A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset
- A solid understanding of commercial electrical and plumbing work
- An Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work

**The Maintenance Engineer role will involve**:

- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
- Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
