We have an exciting opportunity for an administrative assistant based at Colchester Hospital, Children’s Department. This is a part-time post, 20 hours per week over 4 days for 12 months. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is flexible and has excellent administration and communication skills.

The role requires you to work part of a secretarial team, in a busy and vibrant office. Attention to detail is a must as are excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and plan as well as work without direct supervision.

You will be expected to complete a range of general office duties such as, dealing with telephone queries, managing and dealing with incoming and outgoing mail including admin and GP letters, as well as other various tasks requested.
