Fiskars is searching for an Accounting Assistant - Accounts Receivable to join our amazing team in Middleton, WI

About the Role:
What You’ll Be Doing:

Research and resolve unapplied cash by determining whether cash should be applied to open invoices or be returned to customer. Research customer remittance data for information that will tie the payment to an invoice on the AR ledger.
- Provide information and assist deduction analysts as necessary with resolving customer deduction issues.
- Reconcile credit card merchant accounts to ensure credit card payments are being properly applied to invoices.
- Assist other accounting departments with general accounting duties.

What You Can Bring to the Organization:
Education
- 2 year degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience

Experience
- 1 year AR experience

Competencies
- Strong communication skills, problem solving, ability to learn, perseverance/resiliency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment

Proven experiences or successes
- Proven ability to multi-task and strong computer aptitude.
- Reconciliation and analysis experience.

This position is out of our Middleton, WI office and will be a Hybrid (onsite/remote) role.
