**What does this Support Worker job involve?**:

- As a Support Worker you will also be assisting those, we support with day-to-day living skills, encouraging and developing their independence, and working with individuals, their families and other professionals to help support them to partake in educational,occupational as well as leisure activities.
- This is a varied and challenging role but incredibly rewarding. This is also a fun active role that requires staff to participate in activities with service users, such as walks, swimming, cycling and bowling.
- Having small individualised settings means you have time to build real rapport and make a real difference to individual’s lives on a daily basis.
- Whether you have experience as a Support Worker or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
- It can be a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important qualities to have. It is hugely rewarding to see people develop; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week becauseof you.
