**The Employer and Opportunity**
Harrison Fearn is working with a world leading manufacturing business based in Leeds. This business has been going for half a century and works with government bodies and private companies, offering a highly bespoke product. As an organisation this business truly takes care of its employees and believes that family is just as important as work. Due to retirement, this world leader is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the established team of 4.
**Duties**
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be working on the process from start to finish, this will include processing large volumes or orders ranging from £10 to over £100,000. You will be processing bacs payments and preparing cheques which could be in multi-currency. You will be setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts, ensuring all details are relevant and up to date. You will offer regular support to the Finance Manager and Finance Director.
**The Requirements**
Ideally you will have well rounded experience as a purchase ledger clerk and will understand the process from beginning to end. You will be able to work to a high degree of accuracy, and show you are able to solve problems from start to finish whilst hitting deadlines confidently without delay. This will suit a person who has had experience in multi-currency transactions and has worked with high volumes and values.
**The Rewards**
As an employee you will; receive a salary up to £23,000, 23 days holidays plus bank holidays, 2 additional holidays per year (based on sickness), 4% employer contributory pension, death in service benefit 3x your salary, 10 days paid sick leave (after completing a year of service) and a discretionary bonus.
