Industria personnel services are recruiting on behalf of one of clients for a Metal Polisher

This position is a permanent position directly with our client

Every design is made in Britain in small workshops that excel in traditional crafts, such as iron forging, rattan weaving, chair making, precision engineering and saddlery.

Location of work is Thurmaston, Leicester

The Job Role:
The role will be responsible for the preparation and polishing of brass components to a very high standard to then be used in lighting workshop, ensuring quality and the production schedule is maintained.
- Polishing and preparation of brass components for finishing to a high standard
- Responsibility for components and consumables within the polishing workshop
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- General workshop maintenance and housekeeping
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 & Friday 8:00 - 13:00

Hourly rate: £12.60 - £13.85

Experience/Training/Qualifications:

- 3 years+ experience of polishing
- Experience of using hand and power tools
- Experience of finishing processes welcome (hot and cold patination)
- Experience of electrical wiring welcome
- Interest and existing knowledge of luxury furniture and lighting a bonus
- Ability to work independently
