**Lake District Hotel Association**
The Association, formed in 2014, enjoys a growing membership of 30 Hotels and Attractions throughout the Lakes.
We are seeking an individual with experience and understanding of the hospitality businesses in the region.
This is mainly a new pioneering role, although the week-to-week administration of the association has always been a paid role and the present administrator will hand over to you.
Developed between the members, after a period of research and planning - the proposed job description is varied, focused on the medium and short-term recruitment and retention needs in region, and incorporates:
- Marketing employment in Hospitality
- Promoting recruitment opportunities
- Developing work experience & schools/career hub liaison
- Support for our members on recruitment events & retention workshops/training
- Co-ordinating the lobbying for access to international staff
- Administration & communication, including achieving new membership
**The membership has committed the finance, to support an initial 18-month contract, for an individual to work independently - directed by a small management group of members.**
**Ideally a self-employed role, the contract offers £2000 per month for a flexible 27 hours over a 3/4-day week. There will be an allowance of paid holiday.**

You should ideally be based in the region and having your own transport is essential.
